Fieldworks picks up 2017 PRCA Award nomination

There was much excitement at Fieldworks HQ this week with the news that our recent PR campaign for ShopperTrak has been nominated for a 2017 PRCA Award for the second year running.

Recognising the very best in PR across the UK, the PRCA DARE Awards reward communications excellence across 19 categories, from B2B programmes to media relations, and integrated campaigns.

Fieldworks is shortlisted in the Trade and B2B category in recognition of our ‘Capitalising on Peak Trading’ campaign for ShopperTrak, which drove share of voice for its footfall analytics solution during the 2016/17 peak trading period.

Leveraging ShopperTrak’s own consumer footfall data paired with thought leading industry insight, we used key retail dates such as Black Friday and Super Saturday to gain high-level national coverage and influence c-suite decision makers.

We secured 288 coverage hits during the campaign, with activity generating over 1.75bn global opportunities to see in media outlets, including Sky News, The Independent and The Times.  36 national hits delivered high impact visibility for ShopperTrak, all the time positioning the company as a thought-leader and enabling the sales team to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects.

Crucially, the high volume of quality coverage we achieved saw ShopperTrak take more than two times more share of voice than its main competitor in key media during the campaign period – all for the cost per thousand of just 0.0021 pence.
