Winners! Fieldworks clinches Payment Awards

Creating campaigns that make our clients stand out from the crowd is fundamental to Fieldworks’ DNA – so we’re delighted that our work for Retail Merchant Services has been recognised at the Payments Awards.

In 2014 we re-launched Retail Merchant Services’ social media presence, to enhance the company’s position as a specialist payments provider for small to medium sized businesses (SMEs).

Our strategy included establishing a weekly blog, packed with useful advice and topical discussions aimed at the SME market.

Plus, we added Retail Merchant Services’ spin to industry developments, by commenting on retail and business trends through social networks.

This thought leadership was supplemented with sales messages for SMEs, such as information on the company’s Spring Switchover initiative, and a recruitment drive to add new talent to the Retail Merchant Services team.

In just 7 months, the campaign caused a 750% increase in Facebook followers, 85% rise in Twitter followers and 50% improvement in LinkedIn connections.

Web referrals also rose by 275% – not bad for less than a year’s work!
